Sockhop

So I have had several discussions with my boyfriend about the sock and high heel thing. Alexa Chung and a bunch of people whose names have escaped me really rock the look, but in general, I am not sure what I think. I don't think a ton of people can carry a look like that off. And really, what occasion would an average person have for such a look? If it is fancy enough for heels, you cannot wear socks, and if you're able to wear socks, its prolly too casual for heels. I suppose the central question I am asking is, are socks and heels realistic for the real world? Opinions?

PS. I would love to find a pair of socks with Swallows on them!

Party for 3

I adore this photo. Like, if I could buy a hard copy, I would totally do so, and then I would tack it up to my roof, and look at it when I am laying on my bed, upset. Its ability to make me feel joyful borders the mystical. I don't know what it is I like, whether its the care-free vibe coming off the photo, or the faces of the models. It might be the fact that these 3 people in the story behind the shoot feel comfortable enough with eachother to jump into the bath tub together and party it up. My boyfriend's moniker (sp?) is "Go with the flow" and thats exactly what this photo embodies for me. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Pick Me Up

I have been a bit down lately, and I am not sure as to why. However, that is only relevant because I found this picture which much improved my mood. I laugh every single time I see it and hope the same can happen for you!

Adventureland

I saw Adventureland with my boyfriend a little while ago. I absolutely loved it, although when it was finished I found myself feeling a little saddened by it, and I know not the reason why. I found this picture while rifling through my saved internet photos and it so reminded me of Adventureland that I thought I would post it and think about it some more.

This photo makes me wish Adventureland were real, and I could be working there mid 80's wearing totally heinous outfits and working alongside Kristen Stewart and the guy who smoked the pipe.

Nature's Candy

I first saw this and thought the photo was of big purple lollipops. I am obviously still mentally in third grade, but seriously, how great is this gardener? So nice! PS. Love the actual flowers <3

Ring a Ding

So my nana came back from Ireland, and with her was a snake bracelet pour moi! I love it SO much, it is so cute! Now, my burning passion to own a coiled snake ring is much increased, and I am absolutely dying to find one in a reasonable price range. Any help? Suggestions? This ring is the Karl Lagerfeld of the ring world... AND I WANT IT!
